You can learn a lot by reading, listening to and watching comedians and the folks who always seem to be having an enjoyable time at work (and who still get things done!). It’s a good idea to pick up some fun and funny books and savor the content. Humor is one of the elements of life that can make even tough times easier. So why not think about how you can enjoy your work and workplace a little more. People are often drawn to managers and leaders in all areas of business who are nice to be around and make others feel light, comfortable, and add fun to their encounters. If fact, it’s not unusual to see productivity rise when those elements are part of an organization’s culture. Try it. Maybe you’ll wind up laughing all the way to the bank!
