While we wander through the hundreds of books that are currently on the shelves of our neighborhood bookstore’s business section we have to ask ourselves what real experiences have the author’s of each of these works had. When choosing a business book think about the author’s background. Did they really build a business, have they had to make payroll, deal with human resource problems, increase production capabilities, expand geographically, sell their business, or resolve any other real life business issue?
